First,
take a look at this new 'Eye on LA' production:
Once a sleepy town,
Cabazon has experienced amazing success in the last 10-15
years. The Desert Hills Premium Outlet Mall (Mall
website,
click here) has made Cabazon the place to shop and the
towering Morongo Hotel & Spa (Morongo website,
is one of a kind and a great place to visit.
Now it's time for a
major transformation at the world famous Cabazon Dinosaurs.
The new project designer and developer have presented two prospective plans,
and we are excited beyond measure about the environment they
plan to create. Not only will it boost sales among the
existing tenants (WBD Museum and Gift store, Burger King and
Wheel Inn Restaurant), it will also create tax revenue for
the County of Riverside and 1,000 or more jobs for the
surrounding residents. We have included just one of
the proposed renditions below.

CABAZON HISTORY
From the
Interstate Highway, the uncommon view of two giant
dinosaurs, on an arid plain surrounded by mountains, is
an irresistible magnet. But tourists are not the only
ones compelled to stop. Well within a convenient day-drive
of the Los Angeles sphere, the Cabazon Dinosaurs are media darlings
appearing often in commercials, music
videos, film and print ads.
The dinosaurs were built over 30 years ago. The apatosaurus
(formely known as the brontosaurus) took eleven years to build and is the
biggest dinosaur in
the world. The belly of Dinny hosts an awesome
store with something for everyone. The
T-Rex, affectionately known as "Mr. Rex", took seven
years to build.
Over 12,000,000 people each year see the
giant dinos from Interstate 10.
